Roy got rescue dog few months ago. He is an absolute darling and plays really well. He has a special attachment to Roy’s daughter. She recently went to Northumberland at her grandparent’s home and Tubby started to suffer from separation anxiety. Tubby did show some symptoms of separation anxiety as a puppy, but he overcame it very quickly, like within days. But this time he refused to eat. Roy and his wife were really concerned. Now Tubby gets stressed as soon as they leave the room. He tries to follow them even to the toilet. When I heard this I knew that Tubby needs to be trained against this and they need to change his habit.

I got in touch with Alex. She is a dog trainer and animal communicator. She told them to get a big dog house of sorts and advised them to reward Tubby for being settled in his allocated space. She also told them series of tips on how to change his behavior when he tries to get too much attention for himself. Two weeks later all were happy to see that Tubby’s behavior is more mature. The separation anxiety is no longer there.
