Burberry, the international luxury brand, has announced the launch of its Spring 2007 Icons Accessories Collection.
The Burberry Icons Collection takes its influence from the company’s portfolio of heritage details, as well as the season’s ready-to-wear collections. Bags are the focus of the collection, with new silhouettes as well as new iterations of key styles - the Knight, Ashcombe, Bromley, The Beaton and Baby Beaton, The Manor and Mini Manor.

The key classifications of the collection are bags, shoes, wallets, small accessories, umbrellas, and soft accessories. Bags are introduced in all sizes, from totes and hobos to clutches, cross-body and weekend holdall bags.
Main fabrics featured include the Burberry house check, the mini-stud in nappa or suede, quilted patent, lacquer studs, quilted leather and nylon, gold perforated check, as well as limited edition exotics.
The Burberry shoe collection also offers a variety of styles: stiletto, platform sandals, strappy sandals, platform wedges, court shoes, sling backs, Victorian ankle boots, driving shoes, ballet flats, espadrilles, thong sandals, solid wellies, micro stud belt detail as well as belt print wellies.
Soft Accessories also feature heavily as part of the new collection. The cashmere icon scarf in exploded check are introduced in classic check and solid colours. Luxury mufflers - mink, sheared mink, cashmeres and metallic silks with stud, mega sequin, chain mail and ribbon fringe detail are being launched, as well as a new exploded check double fringed scarf in lightweight cashmere, and silks in varying size squares and a new “neckerchief“.
Additionally, the Burberry check comes in iconic colours this Spring, in black and white with black or white leather detail to complete the colour palette. Accessories also come in regimental red, military gold tones and bright white as key fashion statements, as well as grape, ochre, tobacco and tan, black, chocolate, tan and cognac.
